Jamshedpur FC is ready for the ISL 2024/25 season with new signings, returning players, and a determined squad aiming for a playoff spot.
Not long after they've been underwhelming for two consecutive years, Jamshedpur FC is ready to start afresh. Only 1 playoff game for the Indian Super League (ISL) team in all its history has been its highlight thus far since its inception. As they prepare for the 2024/25 ISL season, Jamshedpur FC hopes to change their fortunes by introducing a new squad together with important returnees.

Jamshedpur FC made an excellent beginning in their recent Durand Cup match against the Indian Army club by taking an early 2-0 lead which seemed as though victory was certain. Their momentum was lost due to a defensive falling apart and they were eventually eliminated from the group stages. Khalid Jamil and his men have been forced to refocus their efforts on the ISL season following an early exit.
Fresh Faces and Returning Heroes
Albino Gomes: The New Shot-Stopper
Jamshedpur FC have signed experienced Albino Gomes as their shot-stopper after Rehenesh TP left for Mumbai City FC. Albino Gomes is known for his composure and shot stopping ability which will greatly contribute towards tightening their defense that had been leaky during the Durand Cup matches.

For Red Miners, one of the most thrilling returns is that of Stephen Eze, a tall Nigerian center-back who had formerly spent a season with Jamshedpur FC. Eze has come back to strengthen the defense together with Lazar Cirkovic, a Serbian defender who is bringing along his experience from Europe.
The Flanks
Jamshedpur FC have signed Ashutosh Mehta and Shubham Sarangi to consolidate their right-back position following Provat Lakra’s departure to East Bengal. Mehta’s vast experience in ISL and Sarangi’s exuberance in youth provide Jamshedpur with much-needed depth in defense.

Jordan Murray makes it back to Jamshedpur FC where he was part of the 2021-22 ISL Shield winning team as forward while Javier Siverio will be accompanying him making this striking pair an intimidating force for any good defense within the league.
