Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian pace spearhead, has passed Ravichandran Ashwin and is now only two wickets behind Harbhajan Singh for the most wickets in an India vs Australia Border Gavaskar Trophy Test series.
Bumrah won his 13th five-wicket haul in Tests on Monday (December 30), dismissing Nathan Lyon on the final day of the fourth Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

With the wicket of Lyon in the early hours of play on Day 5 of the Boxing Day Test, Bumrah surpassed Ashwin's count of 29 wickets in a series between India and Australia, and the speed spearhead is on track to set the record with one Test remaining.
