The raiding trio- Guman Singh, Parteek Dahiya, and Rakesh - will do most of the talking for Gujarat Giants, especially Guman Singh, whose forte is Super 10s. On his previous stint with U Mumba in PKL Season 10, he averaged around 10 points per match. Parteek Dahiya and Rakesh are specialists at do-or-die raids and bonus points.
The absence of Iranian defender Fazal Atrachali will be a big miss for its defending line-up but in the major absent-atives is its influential captain Neeraj Kumar, and Sombir, which will bring in much-needed cover from their side.
